Innkeeper/chef Ken Lydecker preparing breakfast Innkeeper/Chef Ken creates an extraordinary meal to start the day. The "chef's whim" daily entree varies, with delights such as Inn-made Waffles with fresh strawberries and blueberries; or Riverside Pancakes with sliced apples, served with pure New Hampshire maple syrup; or Cinnamon Nutmeg French Toast (made from the Inn's homemade bread); or Fresh Vegetable Strata made with local organic zucchini, summer squash, sweet peppers, and sundried tomatoes. Delectable sides include bacon, sausage, hash, potatoes, toast - but nothing here is run-of-the-mill: try herb roasted parmesan potatoes, specially selected apple-maple sausages, Inn-made English Muffins, Inn-made Oatmeal Bread toast, and other scrumptious variations on traditional breakfast fare.

Vegetarian options are also available, for the asking. Top it all off with the daily 7-fruit smoothie, a Riverside specialty. Guests choose from a selection of beverages, including Green Mountain coffee, iced tea, black/green/herbal specialty teas, and hot chocolate in cooler seasons.
